4. Most traditional foods are intended to honor a god or a special person. The traditional Chinese food is Zong Zi. Zong Zi is a rice dumpling wrapped in bamboo or reed leaves. It honors Qu Yuan (340-278 BC.) who was a pioneer poet of ancient China.
