1. Palestine got invloved in the Arab- Israeli conflict because they were fighting over religion and land. Untill 1948, the area that both groups wanted was Palestine. Following the war of 1948-49, this land was divided into three parts: the state of Israel, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. Palestinians do not believe that they should forfeit their land to compensate Jews for Europe's crimes against them.
2. Palestine has been involved in the conflict from 1948-2009. Palestinians wanted all of the land but the Jews took some of it. Israel continued to expand settlements and continues to do that today. Israel offered to give up 97% of the land in the West Bank and all of Gaza, as well as Arab sections of Jerusalem. This offer was turned down by the Palestinians. Some Palestinians demand a state in the West Bank and Gaza. Israelis didn't want to creat a state because they thought it would be a base for terror groups. The Israeli government agreed to a demilitarized Palestinian state with limited control over its borders and resources. After the war there are now four million Palestine refugees. Today the Quartet countries have boycotted the Hamas led government until they agree to recognize Israel and end violence. Also Isrial continues to arrest Palistine terrorists.
3. The enemies in the Middle East are the Isrials because they came into Palestine and took over their land and fought about religion.
4. The friends of Palestine are Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, Iraq, Iran and Afghanistan. They can be called anytime to help Palestine fight in a war.
5. Palestines want their land back and all their plentiful resources. They also wanted oil and territory. They also wanted freedom of Palestinian refugees to return to their homeland and a seperate Palestine state. Palestines want peace.
6. Palestine is prepared to give up their people to be suicid bomers and give up their time to fight for what they want and what is theres.
7. Palestine will not give up their freedom and rights to the Isrials. Nor their land and what territory is theirs.
